  • On Wednesday nights at Ag Hall, Oklahoma State University students gather to churn butter as part of the Butter Churning Club led by President Tatum Johnson. The club, with nearly 400 members and a 30-dollar fee covering four years, builds community and teamwork through a fun and simple process.  The O'Colly

CULTURE NEWS

  • Rachel Arric explained her role managing the OSU Barstool account and working with a team to craft timely campus content during her interview, emphasizing the balance of creative risk and careful planning.  The O'Colly

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Two Oklahoma State professors, Rosemary Avance and Andrew Abernathy, were named Faculty Champions by the Center for Community News and joined a yearlong fellowship that offers research funding and coaching to boost student reporting in rural areas.  The O'Colly
  • Students from the Iranian Student Association gathered at OSU’s Student Union on Wednesday to raise awareness of Iran’s humanitarian crisis, where at least 40,000 people have died during a revolution (The Lion and Sun National Revolution).  Stillwater News Press

SPORTS NEWS

  • Big 12 coaches praised OSU’s Jacie Hoyt for turning around the women’s basketball program after she took over in 2022. She ended long losing streaks, built a competitive roster through transfers, and set scoring records—acknowledged by Baylor coach Nicki Collen (among others) as key to OSU's success.  The O'Colly
  • OSU baseball now has new pitching coach Blake Hawksworth (a former big leaguer) rebuilding the pitching staff with returning players such as Pesca while the infield gains depth with Aidan Meola and Avery Ortiz as junior Kollin Ritchie prepares to build on last season's strong performance.  The O'Colly
