EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Four College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology students were named OSU Outstanding Seniors for the 2025-26 academic year on Tuesday, Feb. 10. A reception honoring them will be held on April 7 at the ConocoPhillips OSU Alumni Center in Stillwater. OSU
- ➤ OSU’s Spears Business earned national recognition Tuesday, Feb. 10 when its undergraduate financial planning program was approved as a registered CFP Certification Education Program. The *gold-standard* program qualifies graduates to immediately sit for the certification exam, opening new career paths in financial planning. OSU
- ➤ Oklahoma State University’s Department of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture is offering a Grape Management course for growers that starts March 5 with monthly classes through September at Cimarron Valley Research Station in Perkins (registration closes March 2, costs $250, and limits enrollment to 25 participants). OSU
- ➤ Oklahoma State University's Spears School of Business named the Top 5 Seniors in each of its eight academic units Tuesday, Feb. 10, based on scholarship, leadership, service and campus involvement. The honorees (set to earn degrees in fall 2025, spring or summer 2026) were chosen by faculty. OSU
- ➤ Five students from the College of Education and Human Sciences were named OSU Outstanding Seniors for the 2025-2026 academic year by the OSU Alumni Association on Feb. 10; a private reception to honor them will be held on April 7 at the ConocoPhillips OSU Alumni Center. OSU
- ➤ Andy Mattern was named the new director and Hargis Professor at OSU’s Doel Reed Center on Tuesday, Feb. 10. He will continue teaching at OSU as department head & lead new hands-on art classes at the center in Taos. OSU
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ OSU design students partnered with Oklahoma Heart Hospital to create red dresses that raise awareness about women's heart health. The garments are on display at hospital lobbies and will be featured at the Euphoria Fashion Show on April 24. OSU
