- ➤ A 34-year-old Elk City man was sentenced to 30 years in prison for beating his mother with a metal framed extension cord reel—he also attacked two OSU police officers on May 31 at Lake Carl Blackwell—and pleaded guilty before a judge and is held in Payne County Jail. 1600 KUSH-AM
