- ➤ SPD arrested a suspect of a fatal shooting Saturday in Stillwater at about 8:45 p.m. near an apartment complex on North Boomer Road+ SPD responded to the incident where one victim was reported. Stillwater News Press
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Cross Canadian Ragweed members Cody Canada and Randy Ragsdale appeared at city hall on Monday with family and briefly addressed the council as Mayor Will Joyce declared April 7–13 'Red Dirt Music Week.' The band said they were honored to play in the city while concerts featuring Ragweed and other acts will begin Thursday at Boone Pickens Stadium to boost local business after a recent wildfire. - ➤ On April 7th, OSU Center for Health Sciences earned its No.1 ranking for graduates serving medically underserved areas. The report showed that 73% of OSU College of Osteopathic Medicine graduates work in Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs) and the school improved its rural practice ranking to No.11 (up from No.19).
