  • Several students were found drunk in the backseat of a car on the recent weekend but were safely driven home by Elizabeth Fite Autry, who offered free rides to and from The Boys From Oklahoma concerts — a service she started after losing friends to drunk driving. She plans to run another free ride advertisement soon to help more students avoid dangerous travel and rising ride-share costs.  The O'Colly

CULTURE NEWS

  • Greg Tillman's new Netflix documentary 'Oklahoma City Bombing: American Terror' revisits the April 19th, 1995 attack that killed 168 people and weaves firsthand interviews from survivors and heroes—capturing the lasting impact of that tragic day on the community.  The O'Colly
  • Turnpike Troubadours released their new album 'The Price of Admission' on Thursday night at Boone Pickens Stadium in Stillwater—focusing on mature themes of family, remembrance and life. The album is their second full-length release since reuniting in 2021 and highlights their signature fiddle-driven sound.  The O'Colly
  • 1 is 2 Many, an OSU campus group, is holding its first 'What Were You Wearing' exhibit at the Orange Wall Art Gallery in the Student Union basement to mark Sexual Assault Awareness Month by showing clothes worn during assaults and student art that speaks to support, action and healing—visitors are invited to view the exhibit as organizers aim to spark open dialogue on sexual violence.  The O'Colly

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Twenty-three OSU alumni sent a letter to the O’Colly on Tuesday opposing the revocation of visas for eight international students who faced charges from speeding tickets to past arrests — they urged the board to ensure fair treatment while the affected students stayed on campus until May 15. Alumni Ron Stevens and Anne Larason Schneider emphasized that OSU should work with other Big 12 schools to support these students properly.  The O'Colly

  • Gracie Epps, raised in Norman as a diehard OU fan, transferred from Georgia and now plays for OSU Cowgirl tennis after deciding to come home. She reached out to coach Chris Young and joined the team to pursue her dream and honor her family ties.  The O'Colly
