- ➤ The Stillwater Public Library will host its annual Ask-a-Lawyer event on May 7 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Stillwater Community Center (315 W. 8th) in partnership with the Payne County Bar Association, where residents will get free one-on-one legal advice with sessions limited to 30 minutes on a first-come, first-served basis. - ➤ Today, Lincoln Academy junior Aden Posey and senior Michael Cruz hosted a Bike Club workshop for Highland Park second-graders in Stillwater. - ➤ After wildfires on March 14 that killed four and destroyed hundreds of homes, Gov. Stitt fired several Oklahoma Forestry Services officials and retracted his plan to disband the department.
