- ➤ OSU residence life welcomed Special Olympics athletes on May 15 with Mardi Gras decorations — the festive setup brightened the campus and underscored support for the athletes — and plans for further summer activities are expected. The O'Colly
- ➤ At the Stillwater History Museum, Heritage Day brought together children, volunteers and caregivers who shared old skills like grinding coffee and spinning wool—showing how the museum has long been a place for learning. Cooper’s Bike Shop and musician Terry Bryson added displays and music to spark discussions about the town’s past and plans for future exhibits. Stillwater News Press
- ➤ Stillwater-area OnCue managers spent Wednesday at Frontier Lanes bowling alley cheering on Special Olympics bowlers and awarding medals to the winners—Oklahoma City police officer Justin Van Brunt, serving his second year as Summer Games director, led the event and celebrated the athletes.
