- ➤ Oklahoma State University’s KARA Lab received a $70K award in IBM Quantum credits on July 24 to access a 156-qubit quantum processor for studying fluid flows over textured surfaces — the lab will test new quantum algorithms that may help design more efficient aerospace systems. OSU

- ➤ Celio Saldivar, father of OSU alumna Marilysis Saldivar, was detained by ICE while on his way to work last summer morning and later transferred to a facility in Texas where he awaits a bail hearing.
