- ➤ A 24-year-old Stillwater man pleaded guilty last month to passing forged checks totaling $1,974.42 to Williams Food in Perkins on July 15 and for entering Stillwater Screen Printing on Oct. 22 with intent to steal copper—he reported to Payne County Jail to serve 90 days before beginning probation that requires paying $1,677.30 in restitution, a substance abuse evaluation, and random drug tests. - ➤ A 48-year-old Perkins man received a five-year prison term and five years of probation for his fourth DUI after previous offenses in Logan, Major and Osage counties—his plea agreement mandates he complete a substance abuse evaluation, random drug tests, full-time work and install an ignition interlock device. 1600 KUSH-AM

EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Stillwater Public Schools is building a new high school that will house 1,960 students and move 9th grade from junior high—adding extra classrooms and a 36,240 square foot performing arts wing to support future growth.
