EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Yesterday, OSU Panhellenic Council earned the National Panhellenic Conference Excellence Award for 2024-25—NPC’s highest honor—joining top institutions such as Alabama, Georgia and LSU. OSU
- ➤ The Stillwater Public Library will launch two digital services on Sept. 2—one that offers over 1,000 digital magazines via the Libby app and another that provides thousands of news sources through NewsBank on a one-year trial basis. Library cards are required and physical periodical copies will remain available for users. City of Stillwater
- ➤ On the first day of class, Oklahoma State enrolled 36,934 students across its five campuses — including Stillwater’s main campus with 27,655 students and a record 5,184 freshmen — as part of its effort to make college more accessible. OSU will finalize these numbers after the add/drop deadline in September as housing challenges may follow with the growing student body. The O'Colly

- ➤ Today, the City of Stillwater announced plans to upgrade water systems, roads and waste management with projects designed to enhance downtown services and overall infrastructure quality—efforts that will benefit residents, businesses and regional partners in the coming months.
