- ➤ A University of Kansas project to return human remains, funerary objects and artifacts to Indigenous tribes has linked finds from Kansas sites to the Kaw and Pawnee Nations — the National Parks Service is involved in the repatriation effort. Stillwater News Press

- ➤ News On 6's old studio set now resides at OSU where journalism students will soon use professional tools for broadcast career training. OSU's news director said the equipment—such as a green screen, sports desk, and control room—will offer students real-world newsroom experience. OSU
- ➤ Dr. Ty Hawkins started as the associate dean for academic programs at OSU’s College of Arts and Sciences on August 1 and will oversee curriculum development, program assessment, and scheduling while partnering with department chairs—his appointment follows a nationwide search and builds on 13 years of academic leadership.
