- ➤ A 34-year-old Tulsa man on probation was charged with having an imitation BB gun that looked real during a traffic stop in Cushing on Aug. 7 when officers stopped a car for faulty brake lights — he is held on a $5,000 bond pending arraignment. 1600 KUSH-AM
- ➤ 26-year-old Cushing man Gabriel James Butler admitted stealing 30 pounds of copper wires from Submersible Pump Inc. on December 16 and received a five-year suspended sentence—serving 180 days in jail—with mandates for treatment and community service as determined by Judge Michael Kulling on August 5. 1600 KUSH-AM
- ➤ On Aug. 5, a 26-year-old Cushing man admitted to stealing copper wires from Submersible Pump Inc. on December 16 and received a five-year suspended sentence except 180 days in jail—he must also enter a treatment program, pay restitution, complete 30 hours of community service, and meet other conditions.
