- ➤ Stillwater residents gathered Thursday at the Kicker Sound Stage at Block 34 to pray—reading Bible verses and expressing grief after the Sept. 10 death of political activist Charlie Kirk. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Stillwater Public Schools increased its overall budget by 10% this fiscal year using local funds to prepare for possible federal cuts. Superintendent Tyler Bridges and CFO Kristie Newby said the move provides a cushion if support services are reduced—leaving the district ready to adjust if funding is eliminated. The O'Colly
- ➤ Brittany Sizemore, vice president of marketing and strategic business development at ISN and an OSU graduate, is one of three Outstanding Young Alumni who will be honored on Oct. 10 at the ConocoPhillips OSU Alumni Center—she supports Brighter Orange and maintains strong ties to the Cowboy legacy. - ➤ On Monday, September 15th, nearly 50 OSU students took part in the Oklahoma Intercollegiate Legislature at the Capitol, presenting bills and debating in a real state politics simulation. The team, led by senior Ashton Tate and directed by Trevor Friesen, secured the best delegation award for five consecutive sessions—defeating the University of Oklahoma each time. OSU
