COMMUNITY NEWS

  • During Hunger Action Month, local food pantries have added hours and services to help community members and OSU students get food. Pete's Pantry, Our Daily Bread, and First Presbyterian Church offer free meals and groceries - donations and volunteer work are encouraged.  The O'Colly

CULTURE NEWS

  • Award-winning actor Hugh Jackman performed a medley of his hit songs and covers for the McKnight Center season opening, uniting local fans with a special OSU choir performance and free viewing on a 32-foot LED wall—some audience members even drove hours to see him live. His energetic set featured songs from The Greatest Showman along with improvised tunes and Sinatra covers.  The O'Colly

EDUCATION NEWS

  • OSU’s Women in Technology team ran a pop-up career closet that helped students dress for job interviews—receiving 1,148 donations and strong alumni backing—and now will open a permanent Cowboy Career Closet in the Student Union to offer free professional clothing all year long.  The O'Colly

SPORTS NEWS

  • OSU and Tulsa played in the revived Turnpike Classic on Friday—making it the 78th meeting where the Cowboys extended their 10-game win streak while students and coaches celebrated the historic rivalry. The game showcased state pride and the in-state competition’s role in keeping local traditions alive.  The O'Colly
  • After Tulsa led by a large margin in the first half, OSU's defense made a strong comeback in the second half—stopping Tulsa from scoring and forcing four punts. OSU recovered a loose ball that gave them a chance to tie the game, but the final play did not work.  The O'Colly
  • Oklahoma State lost to Tulsa during Friday’s game under the lights at Boone Pickens Stadium—OSU’s Zane Flores scored the only touchdown while Tulsa’s Richardson rushed for 146 yards and Presley added a touchdown with two kick returns. The team efforts determined Tulsa’s first victory in Stillwater since 1951.  The O'Colly
