- ➤ As Hunger Action Month ends, OSU Basic Needs fights hunger by giving students food and support—its program will continue all year to help meet their needs. Stillwater News Press
- ➤ Stillwater Public Schools named Darren Nelson as the new Stillwater Junior High School principal and Ashley Dobbs as interim principal at Westwood Elementary on Monday—announced in an SPS press release. Stillwater News Press
- ➤ Oklahoma State Extension has opened registration for Winter Crops School, to be held Dec. 16-17 at Agricultural Hall on OSU campus, with space limited to the first 160 registrants. The event offers 14 continuing education units for certified crop advisors, an exam prep course on Dec. 15, lab tours for the first 30 sign-ups, and early fees of $175 until Dec. 1—after which fees increase to $225. - ➤ Spears Business students collected over 1,100 pieces of professional clothing for the Career Closet pop-up held on Sept. 30 that helped OSU students dress for career fairs—faculty advisor Kim Strom and club members led the effort in sorting donations for a future permanent closet in the Student Union basement—providing a year-round resource for affordable attire.
