- ➤ Leo Schmitz proudly wears a special superhero shirt gifted by the Wyatt family after their daughter Hadley drew a picture of them flying together. The Wyatts credit him with saving Hadley's life during the 2015 OSU Homecoming parade crash — a moment he still treasures. Stillwater News Press

- ➤ Hadley Wyatt, a six-year-old kindergarten student, recalled her experience being injured in the OSU Homecoming Tragedy in 2015 in an FFA speech last year—she said she was seen in every newspaper and on every TV news station—explaining how hard it was to grow up under intense media attention.
