  • Leo Schmitz proudly wears a special superhero shirt gifted by the Wyatt family after their daughter Hadley drew a picture of them flying together. The Wyatts credit him with saving Hadley's life during the 2015 OSU Homecoming parade crash — a moment he still treasures.  Stillwater News Press

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Hadley Wyatt, a six-year-old kindergarten student, recalled her experience being injured in the OSU Homecoming Tragedy in 2015 in an FFA speech last year—she said she was seen in every newspaper and on every TV news station—explaining how hard it was to grow up under intense media attention.  Stillwater News Press

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • Oklahoma State University and two land-grant universities received $2M to study a system that produces energy from animal waste and cleans wastewater to boost efficiency for local farmers. A flood watch is in effect from Friday morning through Saturday afternoon in several counties (residents should monitor forecasts and prepare for potential flooding).  Stillwater News Press
